On October 10, 2024, the TV series *Splendid Peace* was broadcast on Hunan Satellite TV, Tencent Video and Mango TV. Adapted from *The Handbook of Cultivating a Grand Secretary* written by Wen Tan, an author from Jinjiang Literature City, this large-scale ancient-style family romance drama is co-presented by Xintiandi Studio under Huace Croton Media Group, Tencent Video, and Xiamen Film and Television Industry Service Center Co., Ltd. This drama follows the story of Luo Yining (played by Ren Min), the young mistress of the Luo family who was raised in a separate courtyard. Unconstrained by cumbersome traditional formalities since childhood, she cannot stand the bullying inflicted on "Third Brother" Luo Shenyuan (played by Zhang Wanyi) by others and has extended a helping hand to him multiple times, gradually finding that the seemingly down-and-out Luo Shenyuan is actually highly accomplished in both literary and martial arts. Having suffered emotional trauma, Luo Yining is no longer willing to be trapped in the mansion and be subject to others' control. She is determined to break away from outdated conventions, start a business with her own strengths to achieve independence.
