Today, the highly anticipated 5th Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo is grandly inaugurated at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center.

Nowadays, as the digital wave sweeps across the globe, artificial intelligence technology is reshaping a variety of sectors including performing arts, fashion design and urban development with its unique charm. The current session of the Cultural Industries Fair, under the theme of *Artificial Intelligence and Performing Arts*, will host four performing arts innovation forums in the 6.2H Exhibition Area of the Shanghai Stage Art Association.

Today, the first forum gathered a number of researchers specializing in artificial intelligence in the field of culture, commerce and tourism integration, to jointly discuss how artificial intelligence technologies can drive industrial innovation and transformation.

At the opening of the forum, Mr. Zhu Junyi, Professional Director of Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, delivered a speech themed *AIGC-Driven Intelligent Reshaping of the Film and Television Industry*, elaborating on the far-reaching impact of AIGC technology on the film and television industry. Ms. Zhang Yuheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Fashion Industry, Shanghai Sanda University, shared the innovative application of intelligent technologies in fashion design education, bringing new perspectives to the education sector. Mr. Zheng Mo demonstrated the potential of AI in building immersive experiences for future cities, while Mr. Fang Heqing introduced the innovative model of digital film and television sci-tech parks, providing new ideas for industrial development. Under the special session on urban-business linkage, Mr. Wu Zhenwei discussed how artistic and commercial innovation creates city calling cards, and Mr. Meng Qingnan analyzed the application prospects of metaverse technology in the commercial field. Ms. Fan Xiaojuan, Mr. Yin Jiandong and Mr. Kong Xiangyi respectively held in-depth discussions on risk control in the digital economy era, digital technology investment culture, and the application of AI in marketing communication.

Lastly, Attorney Hu Min from Shanghai TYGlobe Law Firm delivered a sharing focusing on the ownership of AIGC-generated content. Although China's *Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China* has not yet explicitly stipulated the ownership of AIGC-generated content, and there are considerable disputes in judicial practice, this does not mean that AI technology can be used without restriction. For example, the act of collecting others' works for AI database training can hardly fall within the scope of "fair use", which may bring about copyright infringement risks; collecting others' voice, facial data and other information for AI-based use involves the risk of personality right infringement; crawling data via underlying technologies such as web crawlers to bypass the encryption protection system set by right holders may trigger legal risks of illegal acquisition of computer information system data, infringement of personal information or trade secrets, and may also constitute unfair competition. In addition to civil liability, generating improper content by using AI technology, obtaining sensitive data, or failing to perform network information security obligations during use may also lead to criminal risks, including but not limited to the crime of infringing on citizens' personal information, the crime of infringing trade secrets, the crime of fabricating and intentionally spreading false information, the crime of refusing to perform information network security management obligations, etc. Therefore, with the development of technology, the Copyright Law may need to be adjusted adaptively in the future to better balance the relationship between technological development and creation protection.

Tomorrow, the "Cross-border Integration, Co-create the Future" Sword and Porcelain Classic Industry Product Matchmaking and Promotion Event will be held at the Longquan Exhibition Area in Hall 6.2H of the Cultural Industries Fair. With unique and exquisite ancient-style arrangements, the event will guide visitors into the neo-Chinese style world of "Longquan with Song Dynasty Charm".
