*Family Legacy* is set against the backdrop of the Huizhou Tribute Ink Case during the Jiajing reign of the Ming Dynasty. It tells the story of Li Zhen (played by Yang Zi), the youngest daughter of the eighth branch of the Li ink-making clan.
